Like Roland, I have been experiencing numerous crashes on 10.2.8 for
going on two years – anywhere from 2 to 20 a day. It has only been made
tolerable by a watcher script that reboots the server when it crashes.
I posted a couple of requests for help, but wasn't able to get
resolution. We are also upgrading to 10.3.8 and hope to get better
results.
Meanwhile, any help that can be provided would truly be appreciated.

Just never ever found a person who knew enough about witango + odbc +
OS X
to look at the two 'identical' servers and see what's different
between then
in the few files that matter and do a transplant. Guessing after asking
around for many many months that such a person probably doesn't exist.
We'll be taking the server offline for upgrades, etc soon, hoping that
whatever uniqueness that caused witango to crash a lot will disappear
with
an OS upgrade.

Roland appears to be the only OS X user that is having severe crashing
issue and if there are others out there suffering in silence we would
really like to hear from you. We want to work out if his crashing
issue is something to do with an OS X configuration, a hardware
configuration, a bug in the server or all of the above.
At the moment Roland's crashing issue is not reproducible in our lab
and appears to be limited to only one of his machines and iodbc.
