Isabelle,
The first thing to check is that the file 'wapache.so' is actually
there in that directory, and check the permissions to make sure that
the process that runs Apache has permission to read that file. If the
plugin were loaded, you would be getting a different response, namely a
Client/Plugin error or of course, the file being served correctly. I
hope this helps - let us know what you find.

Sounds like Apache isn't loading the plugin - check to make sure you
have the right text at the end of your httpd.conf file to load the
Witango plugin. What platform/OS are you running? There has been a
lot written lately about the right info for the httpd.conf file; just
check the archives of the list. Let us know what you find!
