Hi,

What type of database are you loading? We upload text files with
Witango then load the files into Sql Server using a procedure that is
called by Witango in a DirectDBMS. The procedure uses the database's
import command. With the procedure we could can do all sorts of data
verification.

Hi,

Have you thought of using XML, you can have them save the spreadsheet as
XML format, then you can read it in as a DOM object

Subject: Witango-Talk: Witango and EXCEL

Can someone please help us. We've been trying to access EXCEL data from
Witango. The idea is that people can upload EXCEL files via.
witango TAF file or standard FTP and then Witango would access that file
to read the data and use it to load our actual database. We have not
been able to successfully do this at all. Is EXCEL access from Witango
an urban legend?

Please help, anyone. Especially if you have sample TAF / EXCEL files for
us to test and setup on our servers as well.

Thanks a bunch.

Best,
Stephen
