| the excel thing is straightforward. You create a table with your information and then give proper header and send that as .xls file. Instructions have been posted on this list, and if you can't find, I'll send you an example. There are a couple of css tricks to keep your data formats from being screwed with by excel, though. Those also posted on this list. As far as Word.... I looked at a way that would mimic what word itself does. When you save a word doc as .html, it sprays all kings of css information into it so that it can be brought back into word without losing anything. The thought is to create a Word doc similar to the ones you want to create, save it as html, and then look at all the css it puts in it. Use that as a template for your witango-generated html document that can then be opened in word. Haven't tried this, but it's an approach.... Roland A. Dumas 310 W.
