Things to try:

Your entry looks good. Have you restarted the service?

In Witangoevents.log it'll read "parsed 1 cron tab entry" when the server
boots.

In the request log (if you have loggingleve > 0) it'll say "[CRON] sending
http://www.beepbeep.com/test.taf";

Check for both of those

If you see them then it seems that either your server (check IE) or the user
that Witango runs under can't get to that site directly. Some servers can't
call themselves due to tricky firewall/proxy configurations.

*text of log entries is not verbatim*

Subject: Witango-Talk: Crontab Windows

I put a crontab file in the configuration folder on my windows
server. where there are other files referenced in witango.ini

I then duplicated the path the that directory and changed the last
entry to crontab.

i have crontab set up to * * * * *

But so far no go.

Any suggestions?
