I am assuming you mean windows 2003.

We dealt with this problem in detail with witango v5 with IIS 6. For the longest time we treated it like a problem with witango. If you search on the web, you will find that other issues were found with IIS and safari posting file upload forms.

But I may be getting ahead of myself, what is the error you are having?

The error I am speaking of, is that when a upload is done from safari, an error is received that the file could not be processed, or something, don't remember exact.

When we experienced this, we tried the combination of Apache 1.x/ Witango 5, and the problem went away. The issue was the combination of IIS 5/Witango 5. We went so far as to sniff how IE and Safari sent the http data to the server, and it was obvious that safari uploaded data in a different way, the way it chunked up the upload into multiple requests.

We use Windows 2003/IIS 6/Witango 5.5 and do not see this problem at all anymore. Because you are using Tango 2000 (many bugs), I don't know what other help you could get. You may want to search the list archives for upload and safari.

In the end, the problem IS NOT witango, but IIS 5. It took a while
for me to work that out. If you do the same upload on apache it
worked fine.

It works now, I use IIS 6, and witango 5.5.009. I think it was IIS 6
that fixed the problem, could you be using windows 2000 and IIS 5?

No, I am using Windows 2004 Server (Windows NT 5.2) and IIS 6 with
Tango 2000. Seems like some of the documentation in the original
taf said something about it not working with Macs, but that
wasn't an issue for me then. It sure is now, tho. I just
assumed the problem was with how Mac files are.

Hope that helps.

I've got a fairly straightforward upload taf that

The upload taf I'm

Does anyone know of a simple upload taf that will
allow for the uploading of images on either a PC
or a Mac?
