What error you getting?

What is in the var?

Couple things it could be

1. You have the quote set off in the Insert action for the field and the
value in the <@VAR> is a number

2. The <@var> is blank and the database has a constraint of NOT NULL

Subject: Witango-Talk: Problem with insert action

I've just ran into a problem with the insert action. When I try to use a
<@var> for a database field that is a char type the action fails. If I take
out the <@var> and replace it with "test" it works.

What is the work around? I on Witango version 5.5 on Mac OS 10.4.5.
