This has upsell stuff I wrote in. This company is like a best buy
like store (smaller), and there has been a ton of customization in
their cart/inventory programming.
The real programming, is in a whole other hidden application, that a
large call center uses to receive calls from direct mail responses.
The app pushes the rep through special offers, just for that
customer, and upsells based on what they purchase. If they buy a dvd
player, it will push warranties, dvds, cleaners, stuff like that.
It is built where the company does all the administration from web
console. They update inventory, manage product upsells and addons,
product bundles and many other aspects.
