I made the decision to fast track the new dev studio which has a
core that is 5.5 compatible and provides a solid foundation on
which we are building the 6.0 dev studio. We are running about 4
months behind schedule for the 5.5 core but a public beta will
start in the coming weeks and it will be for testing with the 5.5
server and 5.5 feature set.
The team working on the 5.5 compatible features tell me that the
core is now feature complete and is running through QA as we speak.
I ESTIMATE that the beta will begin APPROXIMATELY at the end of March.
I thought that seems all of you are normally so good at reading
things into my statements you would. Try reading between the lines.
5 and 3/4 seem to ring a bell.
