Witango-Talk: line endings

I'm running Witango 5 on Fedora 4, and writing a file.  For some  
reason the file gets DOS line endings.

Is there a switch to control DOS vs. Unix line breaks?
Or do I have run a separate shell script to cleanup output from witango?
