Thank You. Peter. [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Sorry, but i am a bit confused... I read"It will work. A bit complicated. Thanks" I see the word thanks? Then a little earlier in the thread is see "Thanks for reply". I am curious, just how much appreciation is enough for someone to truly show gratitude? Let's say... "I can't thank you enough for taking time from your busy day to help me." Would that be adequate? Although, Alex's english isn't quite as strong as his native russian and therefore may struggle when trying to dress up his answers enough to sound truly grateful. But just so you know, i do appreciate the fact that this list exists and that there are people who offer their time to help others. I guess i am just a little more tolerant of people and don't assume that everyone speaks english natively or is having a really nice day. Can we please keep these code related forums on topic? Thank you very much! p.That's why we use Witango :) _____ From: Alexander [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, June 05, 2006 07:18 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Witango-Talk: question: Upload doesn't work in Safari browser It will work. Thanks _____ From: Tom Ferguson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, June 05, 2006 7:10 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Witango-Talk: question: Upload doesn't work in Safari browser It doesn't integrate with Witango. It just provides you with a file upload that can be included in your html code. It is an older example. The Witango (when it was Tango) upload was very slow and unpredictable, so I used this. It is not as nice as how Witango handles it now, but since you were running into trouble with Safari I thought this might help. _____ From: Alexander [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, June 05, 2006 07:03 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Witango-Talk: question: Upload doesn't work in Safari browser The _vbscript_ is running on the server. I never converted anything to .dll. You must have _vbscript_ running on the webserver though. _____ From: Alexander [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, June 05, 2006 06:52 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Witango-Talk: question: Upload doesn't work in Safari browser Thanks for reply. We're running on Windows server platform. I've downloaded the ASP example. There are 2 classes. Do I need to convert them into DLL in order to use it in Witango? _____ From: Tom Ferguson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, June 05, 2006 6:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Witango-Talk: question: Upload doesn't work in Safari browser Alexander, Are you running on a MAC or Windows server platform? If you will go to: http://www.pcforge.com/WitangoGoodies.htm and look under the goodies in the ASP section, you will find a file upload asp component that works well with Witango... _____ From: Alexander [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, June 05, 2006 06:19 To: [email protected] Subject: Witango-Talk: question: Upload doesn't work in Safari browser Hi, I've got a problem developing application that must be supported by Safari. The thing is I can not get request parameters (<@arg>) from submitted Form if enctype="multipart/form-data" When I run the Tango file with debug file it shows all parameters as part of "Application File" variable and warnings like: "Missing argument: f1" Some information I found about the issue: http://trac.lighttpd.net/trac/ticket/360 see 2 last posts: http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.php?t=283277 Hope to hear from you soon..
