| Our corporate intranet, programmed in Witango, has a timesheet function that staff members can fill out throughout the day, then submit at the end of the day (or the next morning, or whenever). During the day, an employee fills out his/her timesheet as they're working, then hits a SAVE button, which writes all of the timesheet data to cookies (with a one week expiration), so that the user can quit and relaunch their browser, come back and add info to the timesheet throughout the day, and their previous information will still be there. At the end of the day, they click SUBMIT and this writes the data to the db server and clears all of the cookies. This has worked smashingly for years. Until... We just opened a new satellite office inside one of our larger client's facilities, and some of the employees are having trouble with the SAVE function. Sometimes is works fine, sometimes it doesn't work at all, sometimes it will only write some of the cookies but not others (and the ones that it writes isn't consistent). We have 5 employees at the new facility, and only 3 of them are having problems. We've triple checked the browser settings, and they are all identical. They're all on XP using IE6.
I'm at my wits end on this one. Any advice or guidance will be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thanks.
