That's what I thought...the Witango service automatically rolls its logs on its own. I've made sure the server is ON at midnight (not rebooting or something) so that/if the service is using the system clock to decide when to roll its logs it is ON so it may do so.
I've confirmed that the directory of our log file is correctly specified in the witango.ini and it is writing to this file now...it's growing but not rolling. LOGDIR=C:\\Program Files\\WitangoServer\\5.5\\Configuration\\log.ourServerName The user account running Witango has access to this directory and the one above as it is writing the witangoevents.log successfully. To throw another wrench into this, and this leads me to believe something might have gotten squirreled on the install....the LOGGINGLEVEL=1 but I'm occassionally seeing entire SQL statements written to the log. I'm installing 5.5.018 onto another server. I'll see how that looks and then post to the list. Thanks for everyone's feedback and suggestions. Thankfully, our Production server is running and rolling perfectly. It's just this test server that is problematic. - Matt [email protected] writes: >Actually, the Witango service rolls its log files at midnight every night >automatically.
