I have it running on my mac pro, and mac book pro, and I have run it on a intel mini, and not a problem.

Are you sure the installer you are using isn't tweaked? Or have you checked for disk problems?

Granted, it doesn't work great, but it launches.

Dan thanks for your help

Update:

I opened info Studio to look for the Rosetta checkbox, but it wasn't there. I found out from Mac help the checkbox only shows up if the program is in Universal code. Help said if the program is in PowerPC code it will open in Rosetta automatically. I then loaded Studio on to an older PowerPC unit and
the program can right up. Then I used Migration Assistant to move the
program from the PowerPC to the mini with firewire. Is move over OK, but Studio would not startup. I asked around the school district (last count I saw we have over 18,000 Apple) to see if anyone else has had this problem. I was told that we have tried some of the new mini and had the same problem. Some programs open right up others will not. Apple's answer was to contact the manufacture of the software and have then rebuild the code so it will
open with the new minis. Not seeing any new code for a long time from
Witango I guess I'm just SOL on using Witango on my new mini.

Thanks again for help
Tom

You will have to set it to run under Rosetta using the get info you will
find a checkbox. It will be slow but might still work.

Conversation: Reinstalling Witango Studio 5.5
Subject: Witango-Talk: Reinstalling Witango Studio 5.5

Hi All

I have a new Mac mini. I've been loading my programs on this unit and all was going good unstill a loaded Witango Studio 5.5. The install went good, but when I tried to start the Studio a program called Script Editor opened. This program opens every time I try to start Studio. I've removed everything with Witango in the title from the mini and reloaded Studio and the same
thing happened again. Any ideas?
