Thanks for your prompt response. I miss the Bay Area, although I
visit the city quite often (thank heaven for Southwest)... I'm a
graduate of Berkeley ('03). How's the weather? That's one thing I
definitely do not miss!
Here's the problem in a nutshell:
We are in possession of "online employee training modules" (ex:
sexual harassment) that we would like to get back online. Our previous
partners had a license for Witango and used it for the courses and
back-end tracking program. We currently do not have a license and want
to either purchase one (if necessary) or convert into another language.
Part of the functionality of the programs is that a company's employees
can view the training courses online and the office administrator can
track who has completed them. I know we have all relevant files needed
to put the classes back together on our server, but as you can probably
tell I'm not too familiar with this or any other web development
language. This is not part of my normal work, and I'm considerably out
of my element.
I could burn the files onto disks if necessary, although to me it's like
looking for a needle in a haystack. Is this enough of an explanation
for you to give me some kind of estimate on cost of doing this? Do you
work onf a flat-fee or hourly basis?
