Does anyone have any instructions or insight into installing/configuring
the Witango 5.5 Server on an Intel Mac (OSX 10.4)? Witango provides the
installer package for the Intel, but the installation guide appears to
not be updated for Intel Macs and I keep running into a problem:
The Apache 1.3.3 server gets the following error in the httpd:
Syntax error on line 1220 of /etc/httpd/httpd.conf
Cannot load /usr/libexec/httpd/witango55_apache1.so into server:
(reason unknown)
A Webstar5 server is generating a similar error:
WSWebServer[417] CFlog (21): dyld returns 2 when trying to load
/Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/Plug-Ins/Witango55_Webstar5.bundle/MacOS/Witango55_Webstar5.so
Could not load executable for Witango55_Webstar5.bundle
It doesn't appear to be file-permissions related (although I may be wrong).
(I'm installing on an Xserve running OSX Server, however I got the same
results during a test install on an Intel-based MacBook Pro).
