I have seen this done with postscript language fairly easily.

but you would have to install imagemagick and ghostcript on the
windows server to render it as an image. I have done it before, but
its a pain on windows.
On linux, there is class that uses php-gd, and is part of the PEAR
packages, so simple and easy to implement.

Hi all!
I have asked this before.
I am currently putting bar codes on the top of paperwork, by
batching bar code symbols in advance, copying them onto the server
and then referencing them using a numbering system.
I would love to have a way to make bar code symbols. Code 39 on the
fly and never have to do this again.
Windows 2003 server.
Would anyone here have an idea? I asked this before, but was on a
mac server at the time. Perhaps there are more options on windows.
Thanks
