Thats very frustrating. Over a year ago, in Feb 2006, the list was
getting very frustrated re: issues with the studio. You chimed in and
hinted at a 5 3/4 release, that would resolve these issues, and not
have any features of v6, but be a free upgrade to 5.5.
This news was welcome, and pretty much stopped the bitching. And I
didn't bring it up again, being the biggest bitcher. You then
reinforced the coming 5.75 release in may 2006, saying there were
just a few show stopper bugs with 5.75 before going to public beta.
I take no issue in a new v6 studio/server with new features that
requires an upgrade. But it just doesn't feel right that you would
eliminate our problems/issues with much appreciated information, then
communicate the same thing more than once to keep things from getting
rowdy, then completely change things without any communication to the
list. This is different than communicating a new feature that doesn't
make a release. That's disappointing, but it happens. It FEELS like
you used that info to keep the list from continuing to complain, and
continuing to add negative search fodder for witango/google.
What gives?

Robert,
There will not be a 5.75 release. The next release of the Witango
Studio will be 6.0. The Witango Studio 6.0 will create files that
are compatible with the 5.5.025 server (coming soon) if you do not
use the 6.0 features in your taf files.

Can someone confirm if there will be a 5.75 release? Is the only
way to have a studio that works going to be to update to v6?

There has also been some work done under the hood to improve
