I'm using professional licenses in a number of multi-cpu/core (and multi-instance) scenarios.
As long as the Witango.ini line PROCESSAFFINITY= is set to "ALL", your instance of Witango will use all available CPU cores. To verify, check your witangoevents.log, the CPU binding is noted at service launch. Due to some bugs, be sure to be using the latest version (>= 5.5.020) You do not need to install multiple instances, although this might be a good idea. Also, internal threads (queries) can not use more than one processor thread (core) at a time, therefore you will not see benefits from multiple cores until you go over 1 active query. Is anyone using professional in a quad CPU configuration?
