This solution was the best sent to me form another list.

Very slick and easy to implement. Works well with Witango.

Only think to keep in mind is after you open this window the browser back
and JavaScript back will not work

I got around it by passing the needed URL in the link to the detail page and
then using that argument for my back.

I imagine I could easily have called a different taf file for this and then
I would not have had to change the back stuff.

You can see it by going to www.visionvideo.com and doing a search for
distant thunder and then playing the clip for either the list or detail
view./

Look into lightbox, greybox, thickbox...  They're all variations on a
theme: Opening a file or a web page as a layer _on top of_ your
regular web page using JavaScript.  I like GreyBox because when I was
looking into them, GreyBox could open both individual files (like
jpegs) and web pages (either local or remote), using mostly the same
code.  Also, reviews said that GreyBox was more lightweight than some
of the others.  They're all pretty easy to set up.
