It depends on what you mean as compatible. It still sucks, and crashes, and java doesn't work right, etc etc. But it works about as well as it did in tiger.

I have found the only way to really use the studio on the mac, is on an intel mac, using parallels. 5.5 studio on windows xp, and install the old java 1.4.* JVM for jdbc/java. Thats about the most compatible way to run it, and its much more reliable that way, even in parallels, than the 5.5 mac version. If you are running a slower intel machine, its VERY slow due to everything going through rosetta.
