It means you made some type of edit, or change, that when blows the xml importer in the studio, or it doesn't understand something in the structure. Go to a backup of that file and start over.

I have found that doing db migrations or tasks like you are doing, its best to work out how to do it, in a text editor, in a way that when done, the studio recognizes. Then use mass search and replace to fix the issues.

I am converting a very old TAF over to Witango 5.5.

It was written in Tango 2000 and used FileMaker 4 as a datasource.

In those days field names with spaces were OK. And converting the dbs to FMP 6 and editing the Host names of the datasource is 90% of the conversion.

But if you open a TAF with spaces in the field name in Witango Editor 5.5 it
puts CDATA tags around the field name and displays it in quotes in the
Search Actions.

The usual trick is to use a text editor like BBEdit to find and replace all
spaces in Field names (tagged with
or
<ColumnName>...</ColumnName>) with underscores and change the field names to match in the db. I also search for each occurrence of "The field
name" and replace with The_field_name.

After the mammoth task of doing this I went to load my taf and got "The file was not loaded because it has a corrupt structure.". It also won't open in
Witango Editor.

Does anyone know what a 'corrupt structure' entails? Any clues as to where
the problem might be and where it has occurred?

I have enclosed the file in case anyone is interested.
