I have been using WebKnight as an add on ISAP filter to the firewall built into 
Cisco for all of my Web servers. It's free and gives you great protection 
against rogue bots and SQL injection along with a host of other stuff including 
header and referrer checks, ability to set crawl rates, ip/domain name black 
and white lists, character rejections (in url and headers), along with much 
more. It is very much like URL Scan, only much more robust. Granted, it's for 
IIS, but a very handy tool to have. A couple of my sites were getting pounded 
by bad bots and they were sucking up CPU like you wouldn't believe, espcecially 
on sites that used queries and such. This tool has cut all of the crap out of 
my logfiles and since it runs as a DLL and an ISAPI filter, it has a very small 
footprint on the server. Easy to set up and maintain and it spits out its own 
log files so you adjust it as necessary.
