Subject: Witango-Talk: A Calculation
Sorry, but I am totally daft at this. I am trying to come up with a
calc tag that will do the following. I have tried all sorts of
calcs using ceil and floor, but I just can't seem to get this
right. Maybe some of you who are a bit more adept at this could
help me out.
I have a bunch of numbers. These are not returns from a search or
anything like that, so using <@totalrows> <@maxrows> and <@numrows>
will not help.
For every block of numbers, I would like a calc that will spit out
a number rounded to the lowest 20 plus 1. Kind of hard to explain,
but the following would be a good example...
Numbers Result
1 through 20 1
21 through 40 21
41 through 60 41
61 through 80 61
etc. etc. etc
So if you put in 14 the result would be 1
If you put in 18 the result would be 1
If you put in 26 the result would be 21
If you put in 22 the result would be 21
If you put in 44 the result would be 41
If you put in 47 the result would be 41
etc. etc. etc.
Is there a calculation that can work something like this out? I
have been going round and round trying to figure this one out.
Maybe some of you math Gods could help.
