No, in your clients ini, if you have multiple servers, it may be something like this:

[witango55_iis.dll]
WITANGO_SERVER=10.0.0.1,18155:10.0.0.2,18155:10.0.0.3,18155

If you change to this:

[witango55_iis.dll]
FORCE_SERVER_ARG_NAME=SID
WITANGO_SERVER=T1,10.0.0.1,18155:T2,10.0.0.2,18155:T3,10.0.0.3,18155

Then, when you call your app you can FORCE it to hit one of your servers.

We have found using the SID works well, I believe I posted a purgecache taf a while back, that showed how to purge across 6 instances/servers.

Yes. Multiple instances multiples the problems of purging the cache and setting/changing system wide variables (domain or higher).

Are you familiar with all the configurations possible in clients.ini? Basically you need to loop through all your services one by one and execute the appropriate routine. I can get into detail if you need.

When there are multiple instances of witango 5.5 on a server does each one need to have the cache purged separately? I know domains and folders come into play but I’m not clear on witango instances. My guess is that they need to be purged individually.
