Or you can just define it as a domain scope variable. Then it will persist
in that domain till you restart.

But with those or custom scope I always put a branch at the top of my Taf
files that looks to make sure they are there and then rebuild them if not.

I also reload mine daily to cover any changes.

The last action is usually a timestamp in the custom scope or domain scope
like
Domain$latdate

Then if it is missing or after that date I reload.
