Hello,
To my surprise I have discovered that I cannot define an Apple Event
as an external action in Witango Dev Studio 5, even though the on-
line help makes clear that I should. When I select the Type drop-down
menu, the 'Apple Event (Mac OS)' item is greyed out.
I am using version 5.0.9.
I have downloaded version 5.5 to discover the same thing - Mac OS X
10.4.9
Is this correct or do I have to make an adjustment to my configuration?
Related question:
If I cannot address AppleScript directly from Dev Studio, can I do it
using the "Command Line (Windows and Unix)" type of external event?
Another question:
Can I use Witango Dev Studio 5.5 for creating WiTango applications
for a WiTango 5.0 server (running under Mac OS X 10.4, and soon Mac
OS X 10.5).
Which maybe raises also the question whether WiTango 5.0 server is
compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) server…?
