Well ya learn a new thing everyday!
I have written an application that allows admins to set up virtual sub
domains and users to access them immediately.
The base domain is:
The administrator can set up virtual sub-domains:
Abc.thedomain.com.au
123.thedomain.com.au
The DNS record has a wildcard (*) that resolves all sub domains to the same
IP.
Within these subdomains I have different parameters for look and
functionality but some parameters I'd like to share across all of them.
I then discovered Witango Domains. Domain variables can be shared across a
list of domains set up in config.taf.
What I want to know is can I use a wildcard in this list? Can I set it so
that domain vars are shared across all subdomains without having to
individually specify them one by one?
And then can I specify a scope of domain (only that domain) or
'witangodomain' (all domains listed in witango domain)?
