You might be able to use the <@URL> tag.  This tag makes HTTP/S requests to
other servers.

You need to know how the other side is exchanging XML.  It sounds like you
are using a "RESTful" interface.  In this case, you might be able to get
away with GET requests.  POST requests are slightly more complicated.

Regardless, use your browser to investigate the remote service first.  Make
yourself a form in HTML so you can POST directly from your browser.  Once
you understand how the other side behaves, it will probably be pretty easy
to implement from Witango using <@URL>.

I have a confession to make. I don't understand XML.

To me it looks like a format for marking up data with tags.

But it's obviously much more than that. It seems to be the
format/language/portal through which our servers talk to each other.

I am involved in a development process at present that requires my server to
talk XML with a payment gateway.

What I don't understand is what action or metatags I use to initiate an XML
coversation with another server.

Any pointers or examples would be gratefully accepted.
