My problem is really a Witango customer support issue, but they have not really replied to my inquiries so I am hoping posting it here might help.
I recentl bought a new HP pavillion with dual core processors and when I instaled Witango everything worked except the server! witangoevents.log file [ 5784] 2008-05-15 01:20:12 LICENSE ERROR License: CPU limit exceeded [ 5784] 2008-05-15 01:20:12 LICENSE ERROR License: This license is limited to 1 CPUs Which is a bit of a problem. So I wrote to Witango see below if you are interested but no joy yet. I only have a Witango developer's edition & the Development Server License? I am not doing any load sharing, I am only using "localhost" and only one web browser can access the server. I am the only developer using this server. Regarding the new computer I bought last month -- I don't think I could have bought a single processor machine any more. I just needed a new computer. Below is from the Witango website: The Development Server License is a FREE Application Server license available upon request for developers who have purchased a Witango 5 Development Studio. The use of this license is limited such that: * The license many only be used for Development Purposes. * The license is limited to 2 users (2 user reference arguments). * The license is limited to 2 threads. * The server may only be accessed by the machine on which it is installed.
