Witangoserver just will not run under Snow Leopard. Originally I thought the problem related to Apache, but from info I am gathering from discussion groups, it appears that Snow Leopard did some radical changes involving network communications and DNS, and since the problem involved "get_remote_host", I think it IS a Snow Leopard problem.

I am hoping that the Snow Leopard update (10.6.1), rumored to be coming out very shortly, will fix this issue. In the meantime, I have solved the problem by using my Leopard partition.

You folks are lucky. I haven't been able to figure out why mine won't function yet. I've had to resort to running the Dev Studio in a virtual machine using Parallels. :(

I just did the 10.6 upgrade and Dev studio 5.5 works as it did in
10.5.8.

Dev Studio 5.5 Crashes on startup every time for me. I haven't
figured a work around yet. If I do I'll let you know. So far,
though, it looks DOA.
