OK, So THERE is a veiled threat. I said if he responded, I wouldn't
post the licenses, so I will not.
For those of you who requested keys, I apologize. Please write to Phil
with your issues and I truly hope he helps you.
Personally I have never been judged so often and harshly by someone
who does not know me, have any contact with me, have any
understanding of me, understanding of the way I lead my life or run
my business, what motivates me personally or professionally or knows
what is going on in my private life. May I offer you some wisdom -
a long time ago I learnt not to make judgements without compassion
and to never judge someone's actions until I knew what there motives
or situation was. This wisdom has served me well time and time again.
You have told us all on several occasions that you are moving on to
the PHP community so if there is nothing positive keeping you here
please move on with your professional life. I am sure there are
many more positive things you can dedicate your time and energy to
there than beating up on Witango/Me here.
I won't go into a diatribe here, but we spoke in person several times,
I spoke to you via email and on phone to your home. And I was
committed to you and Witango even to the point where I, and others,
were helping resell the product. My issues with the documentation and
other things, which I voiced LOUDLY, were not my own. They were those
of my customers that either purchased the product through me, or that
hired me to help with them with their witango systems. I didn't need
more documentation, I figured my way through. It would have been nice,
but it was the position you put me in when you threw us over the
bridge, and then treated paying customers the same way. I put my name
alongside yours, and that is why you get what you get from me. At this
point, my last client on witango, is ALMOST done porting to php. But I
would guess the witango system will still be place for several more
months. So unfortunately, I still have a reason to be here.

You can cross of Scenarios 1 to 3. Scenario 4 is is close to the

To those still using Witango and wanting to,
As I have admitted previously I do not live a public life, I am not
a communicator, marketer or PR guru, I am just the guy that is in
the background getting on with what I need to get done. Witango has
not been shelved. Admittedly it is has not been on a fast track but
it is still alive. Yes, it is still a niche product and will
continue to be. It is still part of our business model and we are
still providing licensing and support for version 5.5 to those that
require it and we will continue to do so while there is a demand for
it right down to the very last user.
Witango 6 will be available to those that still want to use it.
With the latest OS X Java update we now have a fully functioning dev
studio that is able to replace the old carbon Mac studio.

To Robert G,
What you do and whether you listening to your peers is entirely up
to you. It is your decision and I am sure you will balance the pros
and cons of your actions.

Scenario 5 - Phil is dead.
