Robert,

In my experience, custom scoped variables could create a similar
circumstance. During a normal shutdown of Witango, non-expiring custom
scoped variables are "saved" to disk, and are reloaded on the next startup.
When there is a crash or a "kill" of the Witango process, all custom scoped
variables get loaded with the values they had at the previous "normal"
shutdown, not the values they had before the crash.
