Everyone,
First off, thank you for the kind words of encouragement. As many of you may suspect, this is an exciting, but daunting course of action for me. There is a lot to be done. I would like to address a few specific comments and points: Chuck asked that everyone have some patience with me. I couldn't have said it better myself. Witango will move forward, but I'm not yet sure just how fast. Ben asked if there will be another Beta. This is unlikely. My release plans and schedule do not include another public beta test. This isn't to say that I'm not keen on getting a bug free product out. Daniel brought up European customers. Over the lifetime of v6 I hope to add foreign language support. I consider Witango a world-wide application. Robert brought up community created software. The website will be improved in this area to prominently highlight applications from the community. I plan to allow developers to post both free software and eventually to be able to sell software through the site. I will post an FAQ on the website in a day or two. It will address most other issues and answer any questions that may come up in the mean time. Pricing will also be posted shortly. Lastly, I would also like to publicly thank Phil, Sophie and everyone at With Enterprises/Witango Technologies that helped revive Witango in 2002, and make it into the product it is today. They were extremely helpful and forward through this process and the efforts of Phil and his team will be felt in the software for many years to come.
