John,

There are no problems with the encoding=meta or encoding=metahtml functions in
Witango 5.5. I use this capability quite a bit.

I suspect that you want to use encoding=meta, since encoding=metahtml makes
HTML code show in the browser, rather than be interpreted by it.

Ensure that your data is what you expect. Dump the value to your web page (with
no encoding) and then view source to see the raw value. I suspect that the meta
tag is corrupt in some manner.

Subject: Witango-Talk: Bug in encoding on Windows

Hii, does anyone know if there is a bug with
Encoding=metahtml on Windows.    Tried
retrieving data from a search and used both
an array variation and a column variation
and both times when I use metahtml it
dumps all the html out as text and it doesn’t
evaulate the witango meta tag that’s in
there that we need.

The data in the column we’re retrieving
Is a html form.

Sincerely,
John
