There is no problem using the Mail action to send out an email blast. You will 
have to watch the timeout on the query. Depending on your hardware and the 
receiving email server, you may only be able to send a few hundred emails 
before you hit the query timeout.

You can get around this by having the emailing application call itself using 
@URL after a certain time limit has been hit.

Also note that using the @EMAIL and @EMAILSESSION tags is much more efficient 
than the Mail action. These tags are, however, somewhat complicated to use and 
can take a lot of development time to perfect. If you are writing a 
high-volume, professional mailing application then I would recommend using 
them, otherwise, the Mail action should be sufficient.
