Hello WIT, The HTTP Working Group is chartered to maintain and develop the HTTP protocol.
Recently, we've shipped RFC 9651, a revision of the Structured Fields for HTTP specification. If you're specifying a HTTP header or trailer in your protocol, please take a look: Structured Fields are considered good practice for HTTP. We've also recently shipped RFC 9659 regarding Window Sizing for Zstandard Content Encoding. The group has a number of drafts 'in flight', with a revision of the Cookies specification almost done; after that's shipped, we're likely to launch a revision to refactor the specification. Neither will have discussion time during IETF 121, as most of the work remaining is editorial. We will be discussing a number of other adopted drafts, including the new QUERY method and Resumable Uploads. We'll also consider some not-yet adopted items, including Incremental HTTP Messages (for use cases including OHTTP), some items regarding the 'capsule protocol', and the IP Geolocation HTTP Client Hint.
