The MoQ working group has been busy since IETF 120, focusing on design issues
in the media-agnostic transport protocol (MoQT) and streamlining media-specific
plans in WARP (pending adoption). We also welcomed Magnus Westerlund as an
additional co-chair.

MoQT<https://github.com/moq-wg/moq-transport> Highlights

  * Added subgroups to the Object model to encode dependencies
  * Introduced FETCH verb to distinguish retrieval of past from future
(SUBSCRIBE)
  * Added capabilities for catalog-less discovery of publishers via relays
(SUBSCRIBE_ANNOUNCES)
  * Added configurable limits on concurrent subscriptions

WARP<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-law-moq-warpstreamingformat/> /
Catalog<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-moq-catalogformat/>
Highlights

  *   Design team
proposal<https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/moq/wGnwXj24VSGH6sFncJwfAT77Zws/>
 for consolidation of drafts

We continue to have an active implementer community with more than 6
implementations in 3 different languages.

During IETF 121<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/agenda-121-moq/>, some topics
we plan to discuss are

  * Revisions and clarifications to the priority algorithm based on
implementation experience
  * Optimization of workflows when joining or switching renditions
  *   Usage of timestamps
  * Discussion of Catalog Design Team recommendations

Thanks
