Just an update - the very simple example of writing WLineEdits to the
application root() container works perfectly. So I will try and reproduce my
possible bug as simply as possible by layering on my rubbish complexity from
my app - perhaps being in WContainerWidgets doesn't help. Anyway I'll report
back when (or if) I get a non-working example!
