Hello, The patch as sent by Mike did not work with CMake 2.6.0, CMake would complain about "\." being an unknown escape sequence. By adding one more backslash, the issue seems to be gone. It works now with CMake 2.6.0 and 2.8.1.
I'm attaching the updated patch, which is what I am applying now to Debian and Ubuntu packages (Lenny's available from OBS, Ubuntu's available from my PPA and sid's available from debian.org).
