find it...

gcc file1.cpp file2.cpp  -I thedir

at linking you will get...
unknown symbol xxx...

find the cpp file defining it...

gcc file1.cpp file2.ppp filedefiningothersymbol.cpp -shared -fPIC -I thedir1
-I thedir2  -o wtdbo.so


and... you have the wtdbo :)


if you are happy with the result you can add that to a makefile, but you
need to spend up some time to read read read, and give up at least 1
appointment with your girlfiend :)
