Hey Diego, 2010/4/23 Diego Cantor-Rivera <[email protected]>: > This is something I found around the net today: > > http://www.craftymind.com/2010/04/20/blowing-up-html5-video-and-mapping-it-into-3d-space/ > > I have been really excited with the idea of having HTML5 in Wt. So are we ! We are looking at how to implement video and sound in Wt on top of HTML5 with fallback mechanisms for older browsers (in fact, WSound is already available but does not yet consider HTML5). And canvas has been supported for some time now. But I was not aware that you could cut parts of a video with it... and 3D is ofcourse still not mainstraim, but is looking promising ! > I was checking the code to see what needs to be done and I found some low > level enums deep in the Wt core classes (for instance DomElementType in > WWebWidget) that would need to be modified. As for now I am working on a WText that writes > <canvas> as Koen suggested. That is just as good, really (for experimenting with 3D features). > What do you guys think that the future will bring for Wt? Lots of improvements and new features, still :-) Regards, koen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ witty-interest mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/witty-interest
