Hello,
you can use the tree example on http://www.webtoolkit.eu/widgets#/basics/wtree 
. If you disable JS, the tree will be displayed horizontal and without any 
chance to expande.

Could you send me a screenshot / test case ? The horizontal display happens 
only when the JavaScript is disabled ?
