Gosh!  Of course a WTimer will help!  Didn't notice it, thanks a lot!

Oh and yes I did notice the WGLWidget, in fact it is one of the main
reasons I'm developing with Wt at the moment, but I want to become
familiar with the whole of it first; get a few menus, buttons,
sliders, etc...
