Hey Gaetano,

Koen happens to have tested this recently with a few thousand paint
widgets. Is firebug opened? Is your browser also leaking when you're
not debuging?

If the browsers are still leaking without debugger running, we'd need
a small program to reproduce and fix the leak you're experiencing.

BR,
Wim.
