Fairly cryptic bug report it is. But I see: the problem is that the corresponding widgets will believe they are rendered actually aren't, and thsi results in JavaScript errors. I'm not sure what is the good fix: either we mention this in the documentation as a caveat, or we parse the template using our XML parser (rapidxml is rapid) or we kludge into our simple template parser. I'll go for the first option (as I am clear my long TODO backlog after holidays) unless I get convinced that this should be fixed in the code. Btw. I'm back in business !
