Then you would need to check the WApplication::internalPath() in a new session. Alternatively you could ignore the internalPath() (as I suppose you do now) but then pretend an internal path change at the end of your application startup. That is the simplest solution, but at the potentially added cost of first creating the wrong widget hierarchy.
