Hey Richard, 2011/6/25 Richard Ulrich <[email protected]>: > The approach with the hidden WFileUpload works with FireFox, but might > not with all browsers.
As you might have noticed: security for the browser file upload control is quite tight (for good reasons) and there are not many ways for interacting with it from JavaScript. Unfortunately, the security measures vary from browsers to browser. A good indicator of what is possible though is to look at how GMail allows attachments of files ! But I think your approach might work well in all browsers (or at least in those that need it -- chrome seems to not show the line edit anyway) ? koen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense.
