A WPaintedWidget in a WScrollArea (or WContainerWidget with CSS overflow
configured) should behave as expected: resize the widget to the greater
virtual size. Perhaps you expect to only be able to draw the diagram
partially (and receive a partial paint event) for the visible area? That is
not foreseen, but could be implemented by reacting to scroll events to
update the diagram.
