Hey John,
The failing build problem in widget gallery is because of our reliance on a
feature in libharu which is only available in libharu 2.3.0 (which is stuck
at being an RC), which we still need to detect and work around.
WSubMenu (and WPopupMenuItem) have been removed, since we now have a
uniform WMenuItem that replaces all of these. We did leave a typedef for
WSubMenu and WPopupMenuItem, but indeed you can no longer forward declare
them as classes. Other than this, there should not be any breaking changes ?
Do you have an actual code fragment that you can't get to work anymore
using the latest Wt git ?
(We chose to eliminate them rather than keeping them around not to confuse
new Wt users).
Regards,
koen
